GoShare vs Laborhutt the lower quote depended on the pickup date
We priced the same couch delivery with GoShare and Laborhutt. See how the pickup date changed the lower quote, plus helper costs and overtime rates.

We priced the same couch delivery with GoShare and Laborhutt, then changed the pickup date. The lower quote changed too.
For an October 15 pickup, GoShare showed $120.95 and Laborhutt quoted $128.70. For October 21, GoShare still showed $120.95, while Laborhutt quoted $99.
If you can wait to collect the furniture, check the dates before choosing the service. If you need it tomorrow, compare that date’s price and the work included.
The couch delivery we priced
The quotes were checked on October 14, 2026, using a controlled test between two public store addresses in the Dallas area:
- Pickup: 5300 Nebraska Furniture Mart Drive, The Colony, Texas.
- Delivery: IKEA, 7171 Ikea Drive, Frisco, Texas.
- Load: one couch, entered in GoShare’s 101 to 250 lb category and Laborhutt’s large-item category.
- Access: no stairs or elevators entered.
- Carrying help: GoShare pickup truck with a driver and helper; Laborhutt’s founder confirmed its quoted price covered two movers without customer lifting help.
- Extras: no optional GoShare equipment or promo code selected.
GoShare was set to 11 a.m. CDT. Laborhutt prices the service date; an equivalent 11 a.m. pickup window would need confirmation before booking. These are quotes, not completed deliveries or guaranteed availability. Each service calculates its own route distance.
Tomorrow’s pickup and next week’s pickup had different winners

Moving the date from October 15 to October 21 reduced the Laborhutt quote by $29.70. The GoShare estimate stayed the same in our test.
For this later pickup, Laborhutt was about 18.1% lower than GoShare’s displayed estimate. That saving applies to this example, not every route, item, or date.
For a furniture purchase, ask how long the seller or store can hold the item. A later date only helps if you can still collect it then. If collection is urgent, use the actual available date when comparing prices.
GoShare’s $120.95 included a driver and a helper

The helper was part of the furniture-moving scope we selected. Looking only at the $69.04 driver amount would leave out the second carrier.
GoShare recommends two delivery pros for bulky furniture. If one cannot safely move an item alone, a one-pro booking may require your assistance or rescheduling.
If you cannot help with lifting, make that clear with both services. Confirm the number of carriers before comparing totals.
The GoShare estimate also showed overtime rates
For both dates, GoShare’s review page displayed:

As an illustrative calculation, if each worker exceeded their own allowance by ten minutes, the displayed rates would add $25.50. The $120.95 project price would become $146.45, before any other additions.
That is overtime arithmetic, not a second quote or an observed final bill. GoShare says its project price can also increase for tolls, parking, and extra equipment.
Include the full load and access requirements when requesting an estimate. Furniture still upstairs, extra pieces added at pickup, or disassembly can change the work the movers encounter.
Equipment can add to the selected GoShare price
The equipment screen offered these optional additions during the test:

Get both prices for the move you actually need
Send each service the same addresses, item details, access requirements, and date. Specify whether you need two movers and where the furniture should finish.
For GoShare, review the vehicle, helper, equipment, time allowance, and overtime rates. For Laborhutt, confirm the crew, carrying work, vehicle suitability, and pickup timing behind the upfront price.
Our test shows why checking Laborhutt’s dates is worthwhile. Its quote was higher for the next-day pickup and lower for the later one. GoShare’s starting price also came with stated overtime allowances.
